Warning: Lightning
is very dangerous and good judgment needs to be exercised
when taking lightning photos.
Chasing lightning is an "addiction,"
and you may become "obsessed" with chasing it! (Most
of my students are "lightning fanatics.")
If you know how to compose a photo, learn from
your mistakes and make corrections, then this course is for you.
I can give you enough exposure times and information to get you
started, but mastering this lesson will take time. I can't promise
that the lightning will cooperate, but I promise to do everything
I can to get you ready for it. If you take the exposure times I
give you, experiment with them and keep track of your experiments,
you'll soon be able to handle any situation that "Mother Nature"
throws at you. I have chased lightning for 8 years, and I've never
used a light meter. My exposures are over 90% accurate.
